First blog posts are always awkward.
Writing to nobody at first, hoping people stumble accross your tiny, little, insignificant blog.
Let me start off by saying hello.
I'm Emma, I'm 18, from Edinburgh, Scotland and work Part-Time as a Bookseller for Waterstones.
I love musicals, reading (no way!?), animals, tea, Starbucks and New York City.
'Booklyn' is here for me to write about the books I have read, to review them and share my thoughts on them with the world, not just customers at work, whilst also sharing info about new books coming out and such.
I may also branch out every now and then with posts relating to fashion, beauty, life in general and things like that, just to give you a heads up!
The name of the blog also explains itself..
'Book' for.. books.. and the 'lyn' is to make the name a play on the place; "Brooklyn" in NYC..
I suppose it would work even better if my name was Lyn, in which case, for the sake of making it seem like the blog title fits perfectly we can pretend my name is Lyn.. which it isn't.. shh.
You are now aware I can talk a lot of rubbish..
You get my point about the name anyway haha.
I hope to have the blog up and running properly in a few weeks and looking nice also, but for now we shall have to deal with Blogger's defaults. Apologies.
So, on that note, I'm going to end this post here!
